Wally
I chose Son Mercadal solely to visit Santuari de Monti-Sion, and the hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff treated me like a friend, always ready to satisfy any request and ensure the success of my visit. The Mediterranean cuisine with natural products from the local market was a delightful surprise, with its balanced, surprising, and original flavors. I especially enjoyed dining alfresco while taking in the beautiful garden view.
I can't support the other reviews. The Son Mercadal does not live up to its promises in terms of location, food, service, or honesty.

We were looking for something different from the typical tourist hotels in Spain, and Son Mercadal delivered. The tranquil and rural setting was exactly what we needed to unwind. The Spanish rural charm of the house added to the overall beauty of our stay. The attentive and friendly staff made us feel right at home, and the breakfast, although basic, included delicious homemade ensaimadas and freshly squeezed orange juice. The pool was inviting and clean, and we never had trouble finding a place to relax. our stay at Son Mercadal was absolutely amazing and we highly recommend it for a romantic and peaceful getaway.

We were blown away by the exceptional service, beautifully decorated house, and the stunning views from our room. The owner, Pepe, has put an incredible amount of work into this place and it shows. The breakfast and dinner were exceptional, and the team even prepared a birthday cake for a child in our family. The gardens are spectacular, and the staff is attentive and friendly. it was an amazing experience and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended for couples and families alike.
Felt like a true getaway, nothing to complain about.

I had an incredible stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location between two charming villages provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere, far removed from the crowded coastal areas of Mallorca. The hotel staff was exceptional, offering top-notch service and making me feel truly at home. The room was well-appointed, with amenities like a balcony and sitting area, and the housekeeping ensured it was always clean and comfortable. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast, with homemade pastries and jams sourced from the hotel's own farm. this hotel exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.
Highly recommended!

The hotel is located in a serene area close to two charming villages, away from the busy tourist spots and within easy reach of the beaches. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and the garden is very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all basic amenities. The service is friendly and the breakfast is good.
The internet connection at the hotel is a bit slow, which can be frustrating for those who need to stay connected.

A hidden gem! This hotel was the perfect oasis for my business trip. The stunning gardens and pool area made for a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of options to fuel my days ahead. The location was also ideal, being close to the airport and major business areas. Plus, the free Wi-Fi made it easy for me to stay connected with work.
That there were limited options for lunch on-site. However, this was not a major issue as there were plenty of restaurants within a short drive.

Nothing negative to say.

The hotel had a decent swimming pool and was surrounded by lush greenery, which made it an ideal location for nature lovers. The room we stayed in had vintage furniture, giving it an old-world charm that was quite enchanting. The staff were also helpful and friendly, which added to the overall experience.
The location of the hotel was quite inconvenient, especially for someone who wants to explore the city. The lack of nearby amenities made it a poor choice for a city break.

A hidden gem! The owner picked us up when we got lost, and once we arrived, we were transported to another world. The ambiance is perfect, with cozy corners and a beautiful pool. Don't miss dinner on the terrace - the food is fantastic and the setting is romantic. Despite the distance from the beach, this place is worth it. I highly recommend this hotel.

We recently spent Christmas at a hotel in Porreres. The grounds were charming and beautifully decorated for the holiday season, creating a festive atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the candlelit dinners in the lovely setting. The dinners were tasty and generous, with a variety of traditional dishes to choose from. the pool area was a great place to relax and unwind, with plenty of sun loungers available. It was peaceful and quiet, allowing us to fully enjoy the surroundings.
There were a couple of aspects that were not as enjoyable. the language barrier was a bit of a challenge as the staff had limited English.
